Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking an Administrative Clerk to work on a 6-month contract for one of BC's largest utility and energy companies.
The Administrative Clerk will handle clerical and general office tasks to support and enhance the efficiency of a business group or process in fulfilling its mandate.
Location: Burnaby or Vancouver
Work Model: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Process data, generate reports, and schedule meetings using MS Office applications and office procedures, providing status updates as required.
- Communicate effectively with employees and third parties by preparing meeting presentations, agendas, and minutes in line with communication standards.
- Support financial tasks by processing payments, and monitoring, reconciling, and reporting on assigned records in the accounting system.
- Organize and safeguard documents for easy retrieval using databases and document management programs, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Research and present solutions for non-routine administrative issues to support the business group or project team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of office administration experience or equivalent.
- Experience with SAP, specifically in processing invoices and expenses.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills for a professional environment.
