MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent.
Location: Fraser Valley
Our client is a fast-growing house-building developer builder in the Fraser Valley, seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Superintendent to join their team. This role offers a direct path to a full Site Superintendent role and provides an opportunity to work in a supportive and positive work culture.
- Assist the Site Superintendent in managing the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and project managers to ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standard.
- Inspect and monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
- Manage the delivery of materials and equipment to the site, ensuring all deliveries are received in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor site safety and take corrective actions as required to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and site inspection reports.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in residential construction.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
