MatchBox is seeking a Civil Contract Administrator to join a diverse team, working collaboratively on infrastructure projects that benefit communities while minimizing environmental impact. Role & Responsibilities:
- Handle construction contract administration, including but not limited to the preparation and/or review of vital documents such as site instructions, notice of proposed changes, change orders, and non-conformance reports.
- Review and assess contractor submittals, including traffic accommodation and detour plans, formwork plans, erection plans, care of water plans, ECO plans, and ESC plans.
- Conduct progress quantity reviews and contribute to the preparation of progress payment recommendations.
- Manage project closeout documentation, including substantial and final completion certificates.
- Display a readiness and willingness to conduct construction-related activities, including attending sites for concrete and rebar inspections, among others.
- Demonstrate the ability and readiness to engage in design work as required.
Qualifications:
- Possess a P.Eng. designation with registration or eligibility for registration with APEGA.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection within the transportation infrastructure field; including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other heavy civil projects.
