MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Civil Engineer in North Vancouver, BC. Our client is a consulting firm specializing in civil engineering and land development, tackling projects across diverse terrains in the Lower Mainland and beyond. They focus on delivering efficient, high-quality solutions while fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage civil systems for land development projects, including water, sanitary, drainage, and roadways.
• Conduct technical analysis, prepare designs, calculations, specifications, and budget estimates.
• Coordinate with municipal standards, consultants, and utilities such as BC Hydro, Telus, and FortisBC.
• Lead projects from start to finish, overseeing technicians and EITs while managing multiple deadlines.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and ensure compliance with municipal design standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and eligibility for P.Eng. registration in BC.
• 7+ years of experience in land development within Canada.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for municipal infrastructure and design.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
• Ability to travel for client meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
