MatchBox Consulting is seeking a Construction Manager for our client, one of Vancouver’s most exciting and respected developers, with over 40+ years of developing multi-family housing in Vancouver and across North America.

The Construction Manager will be a driven and insightful project management professional who will be responsible for working collaboratively to manage multi-family residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project timelines and budgets, often provided by a 3rd party general contractors or construction managers.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with the design consulting team throughout the creation of construction drawings, and review milestones and specifications, offering input to management and designers.
• Facilitate coordination among diverse project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including throughout feasibility assessments, consultant coordination, design development, municipal approvals, permitting, occupancy, and project close-out.
• Foster strong working relationships with general contractors and the internal team to ensure cohesive progress across all construction phases.
• Foster constructive partnerships with municipal authorities to facilitate project support and permit acquisition.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and construction quality, addressing any on-site challenges directly with the construction team.
• Oversee the transition of completed homes from the construction phase to the homeowner care team, actively participating in quality assurance processes.
