MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Director of Marketing in Vancouver, BC for a developer with a mixed portfolio and exponentially growing pipeline.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to lead our client’s marketing team, develop and execute successful marketing strategies to promote our development projects. The role will be responsible for managing all aspects of our marketing initiatives, including brand management, digital marketing, advertising campaigns, event marketing, data managing, public relations, and content creation. This critical role in promoting a positive corporate brand image and maintaining strong external communication with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, media, and the public. The Director of Marketing will report to the Chief Executive Officer (the “CEO”) and Senior Vice President (“SVP”) Business Development, and will work closely with other members of the executive team to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall company goals.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, align all marketing initiatives to support company strategy.
• Manage the company's brand, ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, construction, and customer service, to ensure that marketing strategies align with business objectives.
• Develop and execute the company's overall marketing strategy to promote our projects and enhance our brand equity.
• Lead the marketing team and manage all marketing initiatives, including advertising, digital marketing, event marketing, public relations, and content creation, and data analysis.
• Execute marketing strategies across various channels, including digital, social media, and events, to generate leads and drive sales.
• Develop and execute project launch plans in collaboration with project development and sales teams.
• Manage and allocate the marketing budget to maximize ROI and achieve key performance metrics.
• Build and maintain the database for the real estate portfolio, ensuring reliable, accurate, and up-todate information on properties, prospects, and clients.
• Provide timely data analysis of real estate trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to support decision-making and marketing strategy formulation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing initiatives.
• Drive and promote creative designs and concepts to develop marketing campaigns and materials that align with project goals and stand out in the competitive market.
• Manage and supervise customer care functions and work closely with the sales and construction team to ensure our customer service quality and owner/buyers experience meets desired standards.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role or manager level in a real estate development company.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required; MBA preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and resourcefulness in collaborating with partners and delivering compelling content.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and keep relationship with industry partners.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth with developers.
• Experience leading and managing teams, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets and allocating resources to maximize return on marketing budget.
• Proficiency in database management and data analysis tools.
• Strong project management skills, schedule management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
