Matchbox Consulting is seeking a Field Engineer on behalf of our client- an Environmental Consulting Firm well-known for its dynamic approach and fast-paced growth. This individual will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an aptitude for engineering design and technical writing. They believe firmly in the importance of teamwork and adding value to the team. They can manage time effectively and are enthusiastic, positive and focused on solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities:

Compile and interpret historical records, past reports and analytical data to determine strategy for site closure.

Travel to sites to observe site conditions, collect field data, manage treatment system operations and/or provide construction oversight and field engineering

Conduct studies for remedial options, treatment system upgrades, stormwater infrastructure, landfill closure techniques, air contaminant sources, etc.

Working on a design team for remedial systems, chemical injections, barrier walls, treatment plant components, landfill covers, etc.

Report writing for monitoring reports, audit findings, technical reports, design briefs, specifications, tender documents, etc.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s in Engineering
-
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in Environmental Engineering
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Field Engineer
-
Experience with an Environmental Consulting Firm
-
Registered EIT with EGBC
