on behalf of our clients Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Finishing Superintendent a reputable developer builder in Vancouver, specializing in high-end residential concrete projects. We are currently seeking a Finishing Superintendent to join our team for our project in Point Grey, Vancouver.

Job Summary: The Finishing Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing the completion of all finishing work on a high-end residential concrete project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all finishing work is completed to the highest quality standards, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with other superintendents and project managers to ensure that all finishing work is completed on schedule and within budget
• Ensure that all finishing work is completed to the highest quality standards and meets project specifications
• Manage and supervise finishing subcontractors to ensure that they complete their work in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that all finishing work complies with safety regulations and company policies
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project runs smoothly
• Manage and maintain accurate records of all finishing work, including progress reports, schedules, and budgets
• Ensure that all finishing work is completed in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and drawings
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders on the progress of finishing work
• Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all finishing work meets the required standards
• Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the finishing phase of the project

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-end residential concrete construction finishing work
• Excellent knowledge of high-end finishing materials and techniques
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and supervise subcontractors
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
