MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking an Intermediate level Python Developer for a permanent position with a client of ours located in Surrey. This is a full-time on-site position 5 days per week for the first 3 months and then moves to 3 days on-site and 2 days remote after the training period.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a CRM for lead management using the Django and FASTApi frameworks.
• Integrate external CRMs using their APIs.
• Write efficient, readable, and maintainable code.
• Ensure that the code is properly tested and meets coding standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
• Use agile processes and tools such as Jira to manage the project and communicate progress.
• Ensure that the CRM meets business requirements and is easy to use for end-users.
• Continuously learn and keep up to date with the latest developments in Python and related technologies.
• Work in a team environment and actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in the Django and FASTApi frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Good knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases and the ability to write SQL queries.
• Knowledge of JavaScript will be a plus.
• Ability to write efficient, readable, and maintainable code.
• Good knowledge of Agile processes and tools such as Jira.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Continuous learning approach to keep up with new technologies and methodologies.
• Team player who can collaborate and work in a fast-paced environment
