MatchBox Consulting Group is currently searching for an IT Support Technician Level 1 for a permanent role at one of our clients based in Abbotsford, BC. The role will be an in-office role 5 days per week. Candidates must have a vehicle as the office is not transit accessible.

Scope of Duties
 

• Provide customer-focused support with security as a primary concern at all times
• Serve as the first line of contact with the user base
• Provide support in-person, over the phone, or using remote tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and licensing issues for clients
• Work seamlessly with suppliers and outside technicians
• Assist with projects as directed, including: o Helpdesk implementation
• RMM Tools implementation
• PC Imaging software
• Assist with implementing and enforcing IT Policy
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
 

• Proven experience in a customer IT support function
• Understanding of how software and operating systems work
• Ability to listen before acting
• Ability to triage and manage multiple support issues at once
• Windows 10/11
• Office 365, incl. Project, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Teams
• iOS, iPhone/iPad
• Adobe Acrobat
• Zoom
