MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Project Manager for one of our clients, a well-established and successful General Contractor with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Our client’s passionate team of professionals oversees the total construction process of a diverse range of unique projects.
The Junior Project Manager will assist in overseeing various construction projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly skilled, ambitious, and enjoys working collaboratively with diverse individuals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the senior project manager in planning and organizing construction projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Prepare and update project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities, including contracts, change orders, and project correspondence.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate project status to senior management and clients.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.
- Assist with the development of project proposals and bids.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction software and tools, such as scheduling software, CAD software, and estimating software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
