MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Multi-Family Residential Superintendent in Calgary, AB.

Our client is a real estate investment, development, and management firm based in Western Canada. They manage over 3.5 million square feet of commercial space, 40 acres of land for future development, and approximately 3,500 residential units in various stages of design and construction. With over 200 projects completed across multiple asset classes, their portfolio is valued at over $2 billion. Responsibilities: 

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for a Wood-Frame project, ensuring compliance with contract documents.
• Maintain regular communication with senior management, consultants, inspectors, and officials involved in the project.
• Review project plans, specifications, and documentation, reporting discrepancies to the Construction Manager.
• Manage the construction schedule, ensuring contractors and suppliers meet critical deadlines.
• Ensure completion of all required inspections, permits, and occupancy deadlines, coordinating with the Construction Manager.
• Uphold construction quality, safety standards, and respond to emergencies as required.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience in leading and directing all field personnel
• Strong understanding of the Wood-Frame construction process, including Wood-Frame over parkade (essential)
• Excellent and respectful verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to execute and get tasks done efficiently
