MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking an OpenStack Consultant for a 12 month contract role with a client of ours located in Toronto

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design tailored OpenStack solutions.
• Implement, configure, and maintain OpenStack environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to OpenStack deployments.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate OpenStack solutions into existing systems.
• Up to date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies related to OpenStack and cloud infrastructure.
   

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an OpenStack Engineer or Consultant.
• Expert experience with OSP 13 and 16
• Strong understanding of OpenStack architecture
• Experience with virtualization technologies and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD Pipelines
• Strong background in Infrastructure
