Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Coordinator for our client. Our client is a renowned real estate developer with offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and the United States. They specialize in residential and commercial builds and are looking to add to their team! 

Your work will revolve around

• Providing technical support and project coordination to the team
• Contributing to the Project team as a project moves from acquisition through construction and ultimately turn over to the end user
• Coordinating, tracking and monitoring the status of key documentation pertaining to construction
• Assisting in administering construction contracts
• Communicating with the internal and external teams
• Coordinating general administration for project filing, archiving, etc.
• Coordinating with new tenants and their contractors, facilitate premises turnover, drawing approval, signage approval
• Performing inspections of construction upon completion

You have

• A post-secondary diploma or degree in a construction-related program
• A minimum of 1 year experience working in residential construction, preferably wood-frame projects
• Good understanding of estimating and tendering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An understanding of the specific needs, codes and regulations pertaining to building in Alberta
