MatchBox Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our client who specializes in a wide range of ICI projects. The ideal Project Manager will be exposed to a wide range of responsibilities which includes managing multiple concurrent projects, preparing scopes of work for various trades, sending out bid requests, as well as conducting quantity take-offs. The hired Project Manager will be supported by a highly qualified and talented construction professionals as well as to enjoy a positive and fun working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.
• Leads team through competitive tenders while establishing new relationships with the client & their consultants
• Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
• Preparation of bid package and invitations and perform sub-trade and supplier bid audit and analysis
• Prepares preliminary construction schedules & liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and sub-trades
• Determines overall project requirements and identifies any associated risk factors & advise management

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-5 years of project management and estimating experience
• High levels of accuracy and precision
• Good understanding of drawings and specification interpretation
• Good negotiating and persuasion skills
• Experience in construction software
• Ability to perform quantity take off
