MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to work on high-rise projects with one of the most well-established and sought after developer builders in the Lower Mainland.  

The Project Manager will be an experienced and dynamic individual with a passion for high-rise construction who will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion. As a key member of the team, the Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting budgetary and scheduling targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. 

Responsibilities: 

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of high-rise construction projects in adherence to construction documents, schedules, and budgets. 

• Collaborate closely with design professionals, consultants, and architects to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Provide leadership and direction to subcontractors, construction teams, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient and safe execution of tasks. 

• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a culture of safety consciousness throughout the project. 

• Manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met, and making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track. 

• Control project costs by closely monitoring expenses, making informed decisions to manage budget fluctuations, and maintaining accurate financial records. 

• Regularly communicate project progress, updates, and potential issues to stakeholders, addressing concerns and managing expectations effectively. 

• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. 

• Foster strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities. 

Requirements: 

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing multi-family high-rise residential projects from start to finish. 

• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

• Strong understanding of construction documents, blueprints, and technical specifications. 

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders. 

• Proficiency in project management software and tools. 

• Thorough knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices. 

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing project conditions. 

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
