Our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager with HVAC specific background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of mechanical and HVAC projects from start to finish. You will work with a team of engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, including procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. You will be the primary point of contact between the client, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical and HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Develop project plans, including scope of work, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, scheduling, construction, and commissioning.
• Monitor project progress and identify any potential issues or delays, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking costs, approving invoices, and forecasting costs to completion.
• Conduct project meetings with the project team, clients, and other stakeholders to review progress, identify issues, and discuss resolutions.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical and HVAC projects.
• Strong project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems and equipment.
• Experience in procurement and contract management.
• Experience with project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Ability to lead a team and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
• PMP certification is a plus.
