MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a QA Analyst for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing, including Black Box, White Box, and other testing methodologies, to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Apply Agile methodology in the testing process to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Utilize JIRA for defect tracking, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of issues.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand system architecture and design for effective test planning.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a QA Analyst with a focus on manual testing.
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience working on Data Analytics projects
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking and project management.
  • Extensive experience manipulating data in a testing environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
