MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a QA Engineer for permanent role at a client of ours located in Vancouver
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of experience as a QA engineer with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficient in testing frontend technologies, particularly JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and
- Playwright-based testing systems.
- Strong experience with BDD frameworks for writing and managing test cases.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling to run and maintain E2E tests (TeamCity, Gitlab).
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain automation test suites for functional and regression testing.
- Familiarity with testing APIs and integrating external systems into the testing framework.
- Nice to have experience working with ERPs (e.g. Netsuite or Quickbooks Online)
- High-level experience working with cloud platforms and technologies like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of the testing pyramid & methodologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams
- Collaborative experience working closely with developers to ensure QA is fully integrated into the development lifecycle
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.
