MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Senior Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit on behalf of our client— a pioneering organization committed to the safety of healthcare workers and environmental sustainability.
As the Senior Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to expand our client’s customer and distribution base within the Canadian Healthcare sector. Your successful sales track record will be a valuable asset as you represent Canada’s leader in highly accredited Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and pioneer in diverting PPE from landfills through fully recyclable products and services.
Responsibilities

Maintain Existing Client Accounts: Collaborate with a team-selling approach to conduct regular business meetings, provide ongoing training and education, coordinate marketing initiatives, and develop territory account management strategies to expand market share within our Account/Distributor base customers.

Drive Growth Through New Business Development: Create a robust lead pipeline by identifying market leaders, conducting cold calls, qualifying leads, educating and marketing products and services to prospects, and converting leads into customers through persuasive and consultative approaches. Collaborate with Distribution Representatives to drive new business growth throughout your territory.

Manage Territory as Your Own Business: Assist with customer orders and inquiries, focus on pipeline growth, make informed decisions, plan sales call rotations, maintain sales notes, track prospects, and comply with required reporting and administrative tasks. Work strategically with other departments to achieve company objectives.
- Positive Representation: Promote the brand passionately as a local Canadian manufacturer, demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, and provide timely and professional responses to clients. Be open to coaching and customer feedback to foster continuous personal development.
Skills and Qualifications ????
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the medical devices industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Previous experience with Salesforce is considered an asset
- Superior communication skills in English (written, verbal, and non-verbal)
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Eligibility to qualify for a provincially regulated security license (clear criminal background check)
- Vaccination status disclosure may be requested
