MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Senior Architectural Technologist in Edmonton. Headed by an acclaimed Architect, our client is an all-encompassing architectural, interior design, and planning agency located in Edmonton. Focusing on various sectors including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, and recreational projects, they emphasize collaboration, teamwork, and leadership cultivation while utilizing technology to ignite creativity. Their goal is to create inclusive environments that nurture a robust community identity.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams for successful design and construction documentation
- Manage project progress, reporting, and work plans
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Coordinate consultant documentation and attend project meetings
- Conduct Contract Administration tasks and perform quality control reviews
- Communicate effectively with regulatory bodies and provide mentorship to team members
Requirements
- Possess a recognized Degree in Architecture, Architectural Science, or an Architectural Technology Diploma.
- 10 years of architectural technology experience spanning design, contract documents, and construction administration.
- Showcase comprehension of construction materials and technical assemblies.
- Exhibit expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge and experience with the Alberta Building Code/National Building Code.
- Background in mentoring junior architectural technologist staff.
