MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Bridge Technologist to join our client in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead a team of 2-3 technologists, overseeing their work and ensuring quality control on drawings.
• Collaborate with a team of Engineers to prepare designs and estimates from general instructions, preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics.
• Recommend design improvements and simplifications, and create working drawings from conceptual layouts to detailed finished products.
• Coordinate projects by preparing and assembling deliverables, developing designs and layouts, and managing responsibilities in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Complete drawings using 3D models and utilize communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills to collaborate with other ISL disciplines and meet client needs.
• Apply a practical approach to work, balancing requirements and numbers to meet client needs, while mentoring and cross-training staff and recommending efficiencies.

Requirements: 

• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coaching junior team members.
• Experience in the design and construction of transportation infrastructure, including bridges and retaining walls.
• EIT or P.Eng certification
• Willing to be in Edmonton office almost all the time
