About 

MatchBox Consulting Group is hiring a Site Superintendent for a 5-month contract opportunity with a well-established Lower Mainland developer-builder.

The successful candidate will join a 288-unit rental project in Surrey's Guildford neighbourhood, currently under construction with phased occupancy beginning in 2026. This role is focused on site execution and coordination, making it a great fit for an experienced Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Foreman who enjoys being hands-on and keeping construction activities moving efficiently.

As Site Superintendent, you will support daily site operations and coordinate construction activities to ensure work is progressing safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities and trade partners.
• Monitor project progress and help maintain construction schedules.
• Conduct regular site walks and identify coordination, quality, or safety concerns.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Support site logistics, material deliveries, and trade scheduling.
• Maintain site documentation and daily reports.
• Promote and uphold site safety standards.
• Assist with deficiency tracking and quality control throughout construction.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working on multi-family residential construction projects.
• Previous experience as a Site Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and trade coordination.
• Ability to identify issues early and keep work progressing efficiently.
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and execution.
