Structural Technologist

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently looking for a Structural Technologist for a our client, a structural engineering firm in Vancouver, BC.

The Structural Technologist will be responsible for working with the Structural Engineers on various projects that the firm has in the pipeline. They will be involved from start to finish on the project, from the design to the construction phase and everything in between.

Responsibilities: 

• Production of structural drawings for building projects utilizing the latest releases of Revit Structure or AutoCAD
• Work within an integrated team environment to coordinate drawings with the architects and other project consultants
• Attend client meetings
• Work with the Structural Engineers on all phases of the project

Qualifications:  

• Certificate or Diploma in Civil/Structural/Architectural Drafting or Technology from accredited Technical Institute or College
• Applied knowledge of Revit Structure
• Ability to work within established office technical standards
• Good communication skills in English
• Be able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in preparing building structural drawing packages 
• Preferred candidates will have experience with institutional or commercial/multi-family residential buildings
