Matchbox Consulting is seeking Superintendents for our client, a developer builder, with an excellent reputation and the ability to take your career to the next level. What You'll Do:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for a wood-frame project.
  • Maintain constant communication with senior management, consultants, inspectors, and officials to keep the project moving smoothly.
  • Ensure contractors and suppliers follow all contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Review project plans and flag any issues or discrepancies to the Construction Manager.
  • Keep the construction schedule on track, ensuring contractors and suppliers meet key deadlines.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring all municipal and professional inspections, occupancy permits, and possession dates are met.
  • Guarantee the quality of construction and finishing meets Anthem’s high standards.
  • Enforce Occupational Health & Safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant jobsite.
  • Respond to emergencies during off-hours when necessary.

What You Bring:

  • Proven leadership and experience directing field personnel.
  • In-depth knowledge of wood-frame construction, including wood-frame over parkades.
  • Excellent communication skills that get results.
  • A reputation for getting things done.
