MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a Water Resource Engineer to work out of Burnaby, BC in a hybrid work model. Our client is a renowned engineering consultancy specializing in water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:

Develop master drainage plans, integrated stormwater management plans, and capital plans for various projects.

Collaborate with municipalities on drainage and stormwater-related design projects.

Design and develop concepts, preliminary, and detailed designs for green infrastructure, culverts, detention ponds, storm sewers, and related stormwater facilities.

Supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Write technical reports and proposals
Requirements:
-
Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia.

4-8 years of experience in stormwater management, water resources, hydrology/hydraulics, or related fields.

Proficiency with SWMM-based software, HEC-RAS, or other modeling tools.

Experience with ESRI ArcGIS is an asset.

Hands-on design and construction experience in stormwater or other infrastructure projects.
