MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Backend Developer -Java for a permanent position role with a client of ours located in Vancouver. This role is 100% remote and open to anyone across Canada.

$130k to $160k base salary

Must Haves
 

• Strong Java development experience (4+ years
• Experience with AWS cloud environment (4+ years)Typescript development experience (2+ years)
• Experience building scalable software services (e.g., serverless, microservices.)
• Strong OOD skills; knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Strong database modelling skills; experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in mixed-discipline project teams following Agile methodology.
• Experience working directly with clients and other project stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
• Strong English skills (written and verbal.)
   

Preferred qualifications
 

• Experience with CCPA California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) compliance
• Experience with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance
• Experience with DDD.
• Experience with TDD.
• Experience with using and/or configuring CI/CD pipelines.
