Matchbox is looking for a talented Estimator to join a leading developer builder in the Fraser Valley. Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential projects
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine accurate quantities and costs
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information
• Monitor and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or market conditions
• Maintain a database of costs and benchmarks for future reference
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and local codes
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
