Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking an Contract Claims Professional to work on a 1 year contract for one of BC's largest utility and energy companies.

Location: Burnaby, BC | Hybrid
Role overview:
The purpose of this role is to manage a claims portfolio in which the role will be required to determine entitlement, quantum, and draft correspondence representing the client.
Requirements:
Must haves:

• Work with project team to understand historical nature of claim
• Review contract documents and correspondence
• Determine entitlement and quantum
• Draft project correspondence on claims, draft negotiation mandates and briefings to senior management
• Liaise with internal and external counsel as required
• Conduct forensic delay analysis, concurrency analysis and complex schedule review. 

Nice to haves:

• -High proficiency with Excel, spreadsheet development
• -Experience instructing educational content
• -Developing education content
• -Arbitration experience and dispute resolution experience
