MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Superintendent of our client is a reputable developer-builder specializing in multi-family residential projects across British Columbia. With a strong pipeline of project on the islands, they are committed to delivering high-quality developments while maintaining a collaborative and safety-first work environment.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a multi-family wood-frame project in Ladysmith, BC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing site operations, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the on-site construction team to deliver the project on schedule and within budget.
• Manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and trades to maintain efficient workflow.
• Monitor and enforce quality control measures to meet project specifications.
• Proactively identify and resolve site issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local building codes and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably with multi-family wood-frame projects.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to maintain project schedules and budgets while upholding quality standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of BC building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software is an asset.
