A leading General Contractor is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hard tender estimating, capable of managing competitive bid processes and delivering accurate, strategic pricing for commercial construction projects.

This hybrid role is based in Surrey, BC, offering flexibility while keeping you closely connected with the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Review tender documents, identify key scopes, and coordinate subcontractor bidding.
• Manage contractor bid solicitation, proposal evaluation, and cost analysis.
• Prepare and submit detailed estimates, ensuring accuracy and competitive positioning.
• Maintain and expand relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transition from estimating to project execution.
• Stay ahead of market trends and provide insights to optimize cost and efficiency.

What You Bring:

• Strong experience in hard tender estimating for commercial construction projects.
• Training in estimating procedures, quantity surveying, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, On-Screen Takeoff, and other estimating tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• A proactive, competitive, and detail-oriented mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field (BCIT or similar preferred).
