MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Site Superintendent for an exciting and unique high-rise project in Burnaby, BC. This high-rise is set to be one of Vancouver’s most distinctive landmarks.

Our client is highly respected and one of the leaders within the commercial and residential construction industry. Our client is looking for a Senior Superintendent who is up for the challenge and who is passionate about what they do.

Responsibilities: –

• Manage the construction schedule and budget of projects
• Reviews plan designs and specifications as required
• Coordinates all administrative aspects of the production department including managing trade partner’s workload, plan revisions, occupancy date changes, site changes
• Conducts periodic on-site inspections to ensure construction activities are meeting standards and schedule
• Attends head office and on-site meetings as required and keeps staff informed of changes
• Oversees and approves all invoices, processes, budgets and investigates and discrepancies

Requirements: –

• 5-10+ years experience working on high-rises and complex projects
• Ideally experience working on large scale projects
• Strong communication skills
• Able to cope under extreme pressure
• Post Secondary Education either University Degree (i.e. Engineering degree) or College Diploma (Construction Management Program)
• Able to problem solve and someone who is looking for a unique challenge
• The ability to manage to efficiently
