MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Coordinator for our client, one of the largest electrical contractors in the Lower Mainland. With dozens of projects spread out across the Vancouver area, our client is looking to add more experience to their growing team.
You are:
- A strong leader with an ability to make decisions and support team members.
- A quick-thinking problem solver with sharp attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Responsibilities
- Create detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, milestones, schedules, and resources.
- Estimate costs, create budgets, and track spending throughout the project.
- Anticipate and identify potential risks to the project, including technical, safety, or logistical challenges.
- Create and maintain a timeline for the entire project, including setting deadlines for milestones and deliverables.
- Motivate and guide the team, fostering collaboration and positive team dynamics.
- Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to, conducting regular safety checks and audits.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of administrative experience in the construction industru
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering or any related role.
- Journeyman trade certification (red seal) or PMP certification is a strong asset.
- Previous experience on transit projects is an asset.
