Graphic Designer

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to provide temporary coverage during a hiring process, a parental leave, and summer AV projects. This is a six-month contract position supporting a collaborative in-house creative team with a wide range of design needs across digital and print platforms.

• Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite in Dunsmuir 7)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and produce marketing collateral including brochures, banners, social media assets, digital ads, internal communications, and more
• Interpret creative briefs, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and ensure projects align with brand standards
• Use Adobe Creative Suite to create original artwork, icons, line drawings, and refine photographic content
• Provide print-ready files and collaborate with external vendors on production specifications
• Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
• Maintain digital asset libraries and file systems

Must Haves

• Certificate/Diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in graphic or digital design, with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Experience working on Macintosh in a work server environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Figma, Adobe Dimension, and Adobe Premiere
• Skills in HTML5 ad creation, motion graphics, video editing, 3D design, and PowerPoint design
