MatchBox is looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Property Maintenance Technician to support the seamless operation of a private estate in West Vancouver.

This full-time, live-out role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, takes pride in keeping high-end properties in top shape, and brings a proactive approach to residential maintenance. You’ll be a key player in ensuring the grounds, facilities, and outdoor spaces are impeccably maintained, while also coordinating with trusted vendors and supporting occasional events hosted on-site.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Taking full ownership of the estate’s exterior upkeep — from routine cleaning and minor landscaping to overseeing specialized maintenance
• Monitoring property systems and structures, identifying potential issues early, and managing necessary repairs
• Building strong relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure timely, high-quality work
• Keeping outdoor features in top condition — including patios, pools, koi ponds, fireplaces, and garden furnishings
• Assisting with vehicle maintenance, including regular cleaning, fueling, and scheduling of services
• Pitching in with pet care when needed, especially during travel periods
• Providing on-the-ground support for private events, working closely with the Household Manager
• Occasionally supporting upkeep at a secondary residence

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a private or semi-formal household or estate setting
• A strong base of hands-on maintenance skills and a proactive mindset
• Comfort navigating luxury property systems and vendor coordination
• Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and seasonal demands
• Calm, composed, and professional approach, even under pressure
• High standards for confidentiality, discretion, and client service
