MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead mid- to large-scale commercial and residential construction projects. Our client is a well-established and reputable construction management firm based in Vancouver.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in project execution, team leadership, and client communication. Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety goals are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams including estimators, coordinators, site staff, and senior leadership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Oversee project scheduling, procurement, budgeting, risk management, and change order processes.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to project coordinators and junior project managers.
• Review and manage all project documentation, contracts, and reporting.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction progress aligns with project plans and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of project management experience with high-rise or commercial projects,
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, codes, and municipal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in construction project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar.
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• PMP certification is an asset.
