Matchbox is working with a fast-growing company in construction and logistics that’s looking for a dynamic HR & Marketing Manager to join their team in Surrey. If you’re someone who thrives on variety, wants real ownership, and enjoys shaping both people strategy and brand presence, this role offers a rare chance to do both under one roof.

You’ll lead recruitment, culture, and internal structure while also driving marketing strategy across multiple business units. It’s a hands-on role with big-picture impact, perfect for someone who wants to grow with a company that’s scaling fast and thinking long term.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance review cycles across several business units
• Develop and implement HR policies in line with BC employment standards
• Support workforce planning and employee engagement efforts
• Build and execute marketing plans that promote the brand in construction, transportation, and civil services
• Oversee social media, website updates, digital campaigns, and marketing content
• Coordinate community events, trade shows, and client-facing initiatives
• Maintain consistent internal and external communications in line with company values
• Report HR and marketing metrics to leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of combined HR and marketing experience, preferably in construction, logistics, or a similar industry
• Familiarity with BC labour laws and modern HR practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Experience with digital marketing, branding, and social platforms
• Education in HR, marketing, or a related discipline
