We are currently seeking a Site Coordinator for a major infrastructure project based in Revelstoke, BC. This is a safety-sensitive contract role with an expected duration of approximately 7 months, starting in June 2025. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional capable of acting as both site coordinator and inspector, ensuring all construction activities meet regulatory safety standards, quality expectations, and contractual obligations.

The position follows 10-hour shifts with a preferred 10/4 rotation, and involves approximately 70% field work and 30% desk work, requiring hands-on site oversight and strong documentation/reporting skills. Drug and alcohol testing is required.

Please note: Candidates must be located in the Okanagan or Columbia-Shuswap region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily and weekly field reporting on construction progress, safety compliance, quality control, and schedule tracking

• Serve as the Site Safety Coordinator, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to safety regulations

• Inspect construction activities across civil, electrical, and mechanical scopes

• Coordinate and support site testing, surveying, and estimating

• Collaborate with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution

• Ensure project milestones are met in accordance with contract terms and technical specifications

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of construction experience or equivalent

• Strong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and inspection procedures

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications (Assets):

• Electrical qualification preferred; mechanical background will also be considered

• Civil construction experience

• Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology, or a related trades/apprenticeship background
