MatchBox Consulting Group is working with a growing residential builder in the Fraser Valley to find a motivated and reliable Foreperson. This is the perfect opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented construction professional ready to take the next step toward site leadership.

You’ll work closely with the Site Superintendent to ensure projects stay on track—especially during the framing-to-finishing transition, back framing, and punch list closeouts. Responsibilities
•    Perform framing quality checks and oversee back framing for accuracy and code compliance
•    Coordinate and monitor daily site progress with trades and labour
•    Support the scheduling and sequencing of finishing activities
•    Manage site inventory, deliveries, and general organization
•    Communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and in-house teams to resolve site issues
•    Support site safety compliance and enforce housekeeping standards
•    Take initiative with punch list items and deficiency closeout
•    Step in to supervise small crews or trades when needed

Qualifications
•    2–5 years of experience in residential wood-frame construction
•    Strong understanding of framing and finishing best practices
•    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site drawings
•    Organized, accountable, and proactive with strong communication skills
•    Basic familiarity with construction software or mobile apps (e.g., scheduling or reporting tools)
•    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
