About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our growing construction team based in Langley, BC. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the pre-construction phase of commercial and industrial projects across the Lower Mainland. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering accurate cost estimates and supporting the team in securing profitable and well-executed builds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for design-build, lump sum, and construction management projects.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

• Coordinate and solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Analyze historical data and compile reports on costs and trends.

• Assist in value engineering and feasibility studies.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients to ensure accurate pricing and constructability assessments.

• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as required.

• Maintain and update estimating databases and tools.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in the commercial or industrial construction industry.

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of local construction methods, materials, and codes.

• Proficient with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Timberline, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
