Matchbox is looking for a reliable and skilled Live-In Property Manager/Resident Manager to join an exciting new 200+ unit property in Langley City. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in creating a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for residents. If you have a passion for property maintenance and want to be part of a dynamic team, this position is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical work
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests from residents
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems
- Assist with basic landscaping duties, including lawn care and snow removal
- Serve as a point of contact for residents regarding maintenance issues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to handle emergency situations outside regular hours
- A valid driver’s license may be required
