MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a Project Manager to work out of Calgary, AB with occasional travel to Banff and Canmore.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple active construction sites.

• Lead cross-functional teams including site supers, project coordinators, and HSE staff to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure compliance with Alberta construction regulations.

• Manage construction project software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project); support implementation and team adoption.

• Maintain project documentation and report regularly to executive leadership.

• Ensure strong safety performance and proactively manage project risks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in construction project management, ideally within multifamily residential.

• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sites, preferably in Canmore, Calgary, or similar markets.

• Strong leadership, financial, and organizational skills; self-starter who thrives in a low-oversight environment.

• Proficient in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to Canmore/Banff.

• Construction safety certification (e.g., NCSO, OSHA) and PMP designation are assets.
