MatchBox Consulting Group  is searching for a Mineral Process Engineer for our client who provides consulting, engineering, and management solutions the minerals & metals sector. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate design proposals and implementation procedures
• Plan, organize and supervise the extraction of metallic or non-metallic minerals
• Prepare and review all proposals and technical reports
• Coordinate with other departments, project managers, mine management, and clients to optimize production, reduce costs, solve problems and meet deadlines
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Heat & Material balances, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend practical solutions
• Conduct on-site testing

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Minerals/Metallurgical Processing or Chemical Engineering
• Currently registered or able to register with EGBC as a P. Eng
• Knowledge of MS Office, METSIM, PROII, FlareNet or other process simulation software
• Knowledge of process safety methodologies such as HAZOP
• Experience and technical knowledge of process plant design and operation
• Ability to lead and work efficiently within a team environment
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
