MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Superintendent for a construction company that specializes in commercial tenant improvements and commercial new build projects in the lower mainland. The company has been recognized as a Top 70 employer as well as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations, including safety, budget, schedule, performance, subcontractors, and profitability
• Direct crews and mentor Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Foremen while supporting training and apprenticeships
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Identify and remove roadblocks to maintain productivity and efficiency
• Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards
• Oversee quality control and testing to ensure work meets specifications and client expectations
• Develop master plans and schedules for complex builds, aligning milestones with project objectives
• Act as the primary client liaison on-site, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent
• Experience with milestone alignment and pre-construction/proposal support
• Journeyman trade certification
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex projects on time and within budget
• Advanced understanding of LEAN construction principles
• Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification
• CSTS 2020 certification
• Willingness to travel to worksites as required
