MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a fully qualified Electrical Engineer to provide engineering design, planning, estimating, and quality management support for low to medium complexity projects. The role focuses on reliability and compliance within the power system and offers the opportunity to deepen knowledge of NERC reliability standards.
Duration: 1 year
Responsibilities:

Develop safe engineering solutions using initiative and judgement for design, problem-solving, and interpreting specifications.

Support project or operations management with cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.

Prepare progress reports, coordinate work schedules, and recommend payments for completed work.

Conduct independent engineering analysis and periodic on-site quality control inspections.
-
Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Qualifications / Must-Haves:
-
University graduate in applied science or engineering
-
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC
-
Familiarity with power systems and standard design/analysis software (CAD, MS Office)
-
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills
-
Interest in learning more about power system engineering and NERC reliability standards
Nice-to-Haves:

Utility or broader power system experience
