MatchBox is seeking a Development Manager

We’re representing a Surrey-based real estate developer with an active and growing pipeline of multifamily and mixed-use projects. The organization is well-capitalized, focused on the Fraser Valley, and has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, community-oriented developments.

With new projects advancing—including a recently announced major affordable rental initiative in Surrey—our client is expanding their team and seeking a Development Manager with proven experience leading projects through key milestones.

About the Role
You’ll manage projects from design development through municipal approvals, budgeting, and consultant coordination, working closely with internal construction and finance teams. This is a role for someone who can independently drive a file, not an ADM or Sr. Development Coordinator looking to step up.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Development Manager, with hands-on responsibility for multifamily or mixed-use projects in BC.
• Solid understanding of municipal processes, pro forma analysis, and project scheduling.
• Proven ability to lead consultants, manage budgets, and navigate design and approval stages.
• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to represent the developer in meetings with stakeholders and partners.
