MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a supply chain professional. This candidate will be a relationship-driven, initiative-taking individual who thrives in complex environments, excels at stakeholder engagement, and has a strong focus on sourcing and category management.

Contract: 1.5 years

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies

• Lead multi-stage RFPs and supplier negotiations

• Manage medium- to high-complexity projects with minimal oversight

• Resolve escalated supplier or contract issues

• Prepare well-written business briefing documents for leadership review

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders

• Provide guidance on sourcing and category management best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent)

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

• Initiative-driven, able to handle ambiguity and maintain focus

• Experience in stakeholder engagement and building collaborative relationships

• Operational supply chain experience is an asset

• Experience in larger or complex organizations (e.g., Oil & Gas industry) is a plus
