MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Construction Manager. This candidate will leads large, complex construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

Contract: 1 year
Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities for large, complex projects
• Manage materials, budgets, schedules, and workforce resources.
• Enforce site safety and conduct Safe Work Observations
• Identify and manage risks across safety, environmental, reputational, and stakeholder areas.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and public consultation on construction activities.
• Address construction inquiries and resolve escalated issues
• Provide subject matter expertise to project teams and committees.
• Support claims management and cross-functional team collaboration.

Must Haves

• 15+ years of construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, estimating, and contract management.
• Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulations (OSH, WorkSafe).
• Good knowledge of project management principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Significant demolition and equipment removal experience
• Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Personal vehicle.
• Advanced written and spoken English.

Nice to Haves

• RFP development experience.
