Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist for our client, a major provincial electrical utility. This individual will play a key role in supporting business change initiatives, providing strategic analysis, and assisting with compliance-driven projects within a regulated and complex environment. The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in regulatory or audit-related work.

Responsibilities

• Support project activities related to CIP-003, CIP-004, and CIP-006 changes across NERC CIP physical security projects and sustainment efforts.
• Identify, verify, and track prerequisite requirements (PRAs, CIP-100 Awareness) for workers requiring new or modified access in Suresite across impacted sites.
• Collect, organize, and maintain project documentation, deliverables, and CIP-required evidence such as PKM/PACS design approvals and Change Request Checklists.
• Update or create processes and procedures to support project and sustainment deliverables.
• Assist with end-user communications, change management, general inquiries, and sustainment documentation across impacted sites and workers.
• Perform data analysis, reporting, and support decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.

Must Haves

• Minimum 8 years of strategic business analysis experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with Visio, SharePoint, shared mailboxes, and strong computer proficiency.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Advanced written and spoken English for a professional environment.
• Previous experience in regulatory compliance, audit, and/or assurance reviews.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and stakeholder-management skills

Nice to Haves

• Technical IT experience supporting CIP-005, CIP-007, and CIP-010 for cyber asset/systems evidence collection.
• SharePoint administration skillset (ideally at SME level).
• Experience supporting physical security or NERC-related projects.
