MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Lead Test Engineer for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver.
Responsibilities:

• Lead test planning, execution, and strategy for Salesforce Loyalty Cloud initiatives with complex integrations.
• Coordinate and execute testing across large end-to-end projects, ensuring clear reporting and communication of risks.
• Own the integration quality of your team’s product within the broader application ecosystem.
• Drive and uphold quality standards, including backend/white-box testing and non-GUI test approaches.
• Develop and maintain automated regression tests using Tricentis Testim/TTA and provided tooling.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, technical leads, and cross-functional QA teams to meet project goals.
• Lead, mentor, and support test engineers to elevate team capability and performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of leadership experience, including mentoring and managing direct/indirect reports.
• Deep expertise in test strategy, tool selection, and driving test engineering practices across an organization.
• Strong hands-on experience testing complex, multi-team systems with robust integration points.
• Expert understanding of testing techniques, risk assessment, and communicating risks effectively.
• 5+ years of Salesforce testing (Service/Data/Marketing/Loyalty Cloud) with strong knowledge of its data model.
• Skilled with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and Tricentis tools (Testim, Tosca, TTA).
• Experience with API/microservice/back-end testing and 2–5 years of JavaScript or equivalent scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; passionate about quality and finding the right solutions.
